Words that children use, as they grow and learn to communicate, can sometimes lead them down a positive or negative path in life. Words matter. Words are powerful and the essential tools of bullies.

Young, impressionable children hear all manner of words from a variety of sources including parents, friends, television, radio, online, tweets, songs and raps. It makes it very difficult for a young mind to understand that certain words that may come from these sources may have harmful effects, if and when they use them.

“GOOD WORDS, BAD WORDS… DON’T SAY THAT!” makes it clear, in a fun way, to children and also reminds adults to be mindful of the words that they use. It is our hope that children and others who read this book will agree that some words can cause pain or joy to others.
